Gut

Covered gut strings are normally used by classical musicians. They produce a warm, powerful sound able to fill a concert hall. The natural gut core is, however, more prone to differences in temperature & humidity. They are not normally used with adjusters and are not as long-lasting as synthetic strings. They are, thus, more suited to the advanced player.
